About this game

Connect Four is a beloved two-player strategy game built around a tall vertical grid seven columns wide and six rows tall, where you and your opponent take turns dropping a colored disc into any column you choose, watching it fall and settle on top of whatever is already stacked below it. The objective is to be the first player to line up four of your own discs consecutively in a row, whether that line runs horizontally across a row, vertically up a column, or diagonally across the board, while simultaneously watching out for your opponent doing exactly the same thing. Because you cannot remove a disc once it has been dropped, every move permanently reshapes the board, so strong players think several moves ahead, setting up situations where they threaten to win in two different columns at once, a trap the opponent simply cannot block both of simultaneously. In this version you play as the gold discs against a computer opponent controlling the pink discs, taking turns dropping pieces until either someone connects four in a row or the entire board fills up completely for a draw, resetting instantly for a fresh rematch whenever you are ready.
