Number Tap is a pure speed and visual scanning challenge based on the Schulte table, a classic exercise originally developed to train peripheral vision and rapid visual search skills, presented here as a simple but genuinely demanding race against the clock. Sixteen numbered tiles from one through sixteen are scattered randomly across a four-by-four grid in a completely shuffled arrangement, and your only task is to tap them in the correct numerical order, from one all the way up to sixteen, as quickly as your eyes and hands can manage. The moment you tap the very first tile correctly, a running stopwatch starts automatically, ticking upward in real time as you continue working through the grid, and it stops the instant you successfully tap the final sixteenth tile, giving you an honest, precise measurement of your completion time down to a tenth of a second. Because the numbers are scattered in a random layout rather than in any predictable pattern, memorizing tile positions from a previous attempt offers no real advantage, and genuinely improving your time requires training your eyes to scan the whole grid efficiently and locate the next needed number at a glance rather than searching tile by tile.
